My Summer Vacation 2002
What a great trip I had. My host were great and the experience will give me memories to last a life time. I will be repeating this experience for my Fall Vacation and hope all of you send me your invitations.

Chicago had to be my favorite place to visit. Jason was a wonderful host and took me to see all the sites. Shedd's Aquarium, Addler Planetarium, Museum of Science and Industry, and of course the N. Halstead area. I never imagined that their were places like SF right here in the Midwest. Jason is a registered nurse and I really just want to say that I have a lot of respect for you!

St. Louis! Pretty kewl place but not quite as "clean" as Chicago but I had fun with Phillip. We went to the Arch and if your scared of small places don't ever go to the top because those little elevators are scary! But the view was really kewl and a helicopter few under it while we were at the top. Phillip and I spent a lot of time at his place and we enjoyed each others company "a lot".

Evansville, well I stayed at a Holiday Inn because Bill didn't show up as we had planned. But I didn't really see much of the city but did find my way to the river boat casino and played some slot machines. Don't ask I come out ahead! LOL

My Fall Trip 2002
Danny was my host and he lives on Fir Way in Colorado Springs. Danny own a construction business where he is the boss of 25 other guys. He builds houses mostly! Danny met me at the airport and right away I was in awe of his crystal blue eyes. They were very sexy and seems to look right into your soul! I was a bit nervous but he put me at ease right away and in no time we felt like old friends. We really hit it off and Danny will be visiting me in a couple of weeks : )The first day there was a bad snow storm and I had not seen snow since last winter here in Ky but their is plenty to be found in Colorado Springs in Oct/Nov. Went to Pikes Peak and had a snowball fight and we sort of just stayed in his cozy but spacious home most of the weekend. We went out to eat at Steaksmith and I think they have the best steaks I've ever eaten. I couldn't of had a better time. I'm looking forward to meeting the next 'host' for my weekend with Nate getaway and I hope to receive your invitations soon. I also want to thank Danny for defending our nation as a Army Reservist and thanks to all the soldiers who protect us!

The Weekend With Nate Trip
I visited José M. from May 31, 2003 until June 2, 2003
José is 36 years old and Mexican/American dissent. He's a manager for a restaurant called Whataburger. His number was 50 and he received 3 votes and was the highest voted invitation. More about my visit with Jose after I return.
Thanks for all the invitations and if you are still interested in hosting me please check out my Summer Vacation 2003, it will be July 31 - Aug 3.Now that things are somewhat back to normal I'll just say that my visit with José was less then perfect but still I had a great time visiting El Paso. It was no fault of José, but sometimes things just don't always work out. First was the airport. It was packed and it took me 3 hours to get through security. Then I started feeling ill right after we got back to José apt and I was vomiting and took a trip to the emergency room there after. I started feeling better Saturday and we went out for a light lunch and for some site seeing and then back to his place for a quit night watching home movies from his childhood. Sunday we spent the morning talking over a great Mexican breakfast José fixed for us. We had a great time and José I apologize for not being a very good guest and I will come visit you again this time without the stomach ache.

Summer Vacation 2003
July 31- Aug 3

Hell is no hotter than New Orleans in July/Aug! Whew! Steven was an absolute perfect host. His meatloaf is the BEST in the world! We toured the French Quarter and ate and drank in a lot of the great places. The Satchmo Summerfest celebrating Louis Armstrong was one of the highlights. Who know I would enjoy jazz music so much. We took the Haunted Tour of New Orleans and the Voodoo/Cemetery Tour is the best. I have posted one of the photo's I took of a Marie Laveau's grave! Steven also took me to see Lewis and Clarks great journey west at the Entergy IMAX Theater. It was my first IMAX experience and it was fab. I can't tell you much about Steven except that he's 39 years old and he works for the city. He is a very shy guy but really opens up after a few cocktails ;) I'll post more photos I took when I get a chance to scan them. Thanks to everyone that submitted their invitations. I wish I could visit you all!

Fall Trip 2003
Oct 31- Nov 3
As some of you already know my trip to visit Stanley Zimmerman in Las Vegas didn't work out so well.  His cousin was killed in an auto accident about the time my plane was landing.  I ended up staying at a hotel (Stanley's Treat) called Blue Moon Resort and let him attend to more important family matters.  We had dinner Sunday evening and If you read this Stanley your a really great guy and I would never be mad at your for something that is out of your control.  So instead I spent some time with some of Stanley's friends John & Eric and they showed me around Vegas.......mostly casino's..... I lost money but had fun, and I didn't see any of the shows but maybe next time if I get back there.  The Blue Moon was actually a fun (wink) place to stay.  It's only for gay men!  Then I came home Mon morning.  I'm looking forward to my Winter Trip in Jan!

Winter Trip 2004

Thanks To Everyone That Sent Me An Invitation!  Charlie J, Redan, GA was my host for My Winter Trip Weekend.  I left at 11am Jan 2, 2004 and flew to Atlanta.   Charlie is a small business owner and 35 years old (that was a typo earlier when I had his age posted at 25).  He's 5'11", 180 and in his words "have never worked out a day in my life!"  You would never know it by his photos though ; )  Charlie lives in a small town of Redan, GA which is just south of Georgia's Stone Mountain Park.  Here is his photo below posted with his approval.  He's a divorced dad with two sons.  We had a great time together.  He took me to some of the most remote area's I've even been to in my life and showed me stars through his telescope.  It was quite nice to actually visit with someone instead of us both running around doing a lot of activities.  There's nothing like a short nap on his porch!  Especially the way he woke me up!  Charles your a wonderful host.  Thank You!

Spring Vacation 2005

I traveled to Little Rock AR where I visited Robert for 3 days.  Robert is a journalist for the Arkansas Times .  One of the high lights of my trip was visiting Little Rock River Market on President Clinton Ave.  We stocked up on food for the weekend and met some great gay farmers and peddlers.  The music exhibit at the President Clinton Library & Museum was also great.  Who knew we had some of the same taste in music.  Our trip to Kanis Park was fun as we found some great cruising on the hiking trails.  And Cupids bookstore was another hot spot!  If your ever in Little Rock don't miss any of these.  Thanks Robert for a great weekend.  Looking forward for you to come visit Lexington this summer.

Summer Vacation 2006

I visited "Jerome" in St. Paul MN.  We however did not hit it off and I ended up staying at a hotel "paid for by Jerome" for my weekend.  Just want to say thanks Jerome for your generosity even though we got off on the wrong foot.  I understand how it can be for people who are not out.

Fall Vacation 2006

Winter Vacation 2007
On my winter trip I visited Steve in Salem, OR.  He took me to Southside Speak Easy which was a great place to eat and dance.  I don't think there are too many gay clubs that have great food but this place did.  We also visited the Life Line AIDS project thrift store where I found some great records.  Yeah I'm a vinyl junky.  Steve is an dentist and I had a free cleaning to boot.
